Key Functions

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered.
  • Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring.
  • Ensure payment is received as agreed.
  • Advise customers of delivery schedules and after-sales service.
  • Communicate with the booking and shipping offices about daily orders.
  • Be aware of competitors’ strategies, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Meet sales targets.
  • Communicate with dispatchers for daily orders.
  • Liaise with other departments within the division.
  • Deal with customer complaints or issues.
