Job Purpose Assist the Senior Storekeeper in all transactional and warehouse activities at the Distribution Centers/Uniform issue counters. Record transactional data accurately in inventory systems. Job Outline
- Undertakes the physical checking and receiving of goods into stock ensuring that goods are in accordance with purchase order in terms of quantity and quality.
- Ensure all stocks items are received in accordance to the purchase orders terms and conditions advising buyers in the event of discrepancies to enable supplier feedback.
- Assist senior storekeeper by preparing requisitions for the purchase stock items to meet department demands in a timely manner.
- Assist in the packaging and distribution of all items (uniforms/promotional and non-stock items) to outstations and promotional events as necessary, including dispatch activities.
- Responsible for inspecting, verifying items as per approved sample. Ensure that the incoming materials are in good condition as per the specifications of the Company Standards.
- Provides clerical assistance by filing of receipt and issue vouchers.
- Input data into the inventory management system for stock transactions to ensure the database is accurate.
- Should be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Recommended International Qualifications: MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, CSMP, CPSM, IPSCMI qualifications (CIPP, CPPP, CISCP, CICCM, CIPN, CITLP, CISM, CMPO).
- Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, MBA equivalent to CIPS or MCIPS depends on grade.
