Junior Electrical Engineer

Junior Electrical Engineer - Main Building Contractor - Athenry, Co Galway Employment Type: Permanent Experience: 2+ years Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Our client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe. They have successfully completed projects across a range of sectors including Restoration/Refurbishment, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical.

Responsibilities

1. Assisting with the implementation of the MEP deliverables on the project.
2. Work collaboratively with the project design team and subcontractors.
3. Assisting M&E staff in all work relating to the safe and timely completion of projects.
4. Working with the team to inspect all installation works against the agreed level of the approved quality plan.
5. Attend project meetings.

Requirements

1. Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services M&E (Electrical).
2. 1-2 years’ experience in building services coordination.
3. Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally with project experience.
4. Excellent IT skills – knowledge of Revit/BIM, Microsoft.
