We are seeking an experienced and results-driven OTC Trader to specialise in structured products , combining derivatives and bonds to deliver tailored financial solutions for institutional and high-net-worth clients. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in financial markets and a proven ability to design, package, and execute bespoke structured product solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Structured Product Development: Create and execute structured products by combining derivatives and bonds to meet the specific needs of clients.
- OTC Trade Execution: Facilitate and execute high-value OTC trades with precision, ensuring competitive pricing and seamless transactions.
- Client Engagement: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients, providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor financial markets, including fixed-income and derivative instruments, to identify opportunities and manage risks.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate counterparty and market risks associated with structured products, adhering to regulatory and company standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure the smooth execution of structured product transactions.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on trading activity, client engagement, and product performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field. A master's degree or CFA qualification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in OTC trading, structured products, or a similar role in financial markets. Proven expertise in derivatives and bonds, including packaging and executing structured solutions.
- Skills: Deep understanding of fixed-income products, derivatives, and financial modelling. Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess market opportunities and risks. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction and collaboration. Proficiency in trading platforms and advanced Excel.
- Certifications: Certifications in derivatives or fixed-income markets are highly desirable.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage.
