1. Own the architecture for solutions, ensuring that technology choices lead to performance, scalability, reliability and maintenance in the short and long term.
2. Provide oversight, develop roadmaps, design standards, review code and mentor others.
3. Create proofs of concept to verify the suitability of new technologies or architectural approaches.
4. Solve complex business and technical problems using personal expertise and leadership skills.
5. Provide guidance on software development and implementation initiatives.
6. Develop a thorough understanding of the business, application, data, and infrastructure architectures for B2B or Consumer Ecommerce whilst researching and evaluating new technologies to benefit these needs.
