We are looking for talented and passionate Barista - Back to Roots to join our team immediately and be a part of our upcoming F&B concept. If you are creative, passionate, and dedicated, we invite you to apply NOW! As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a positive welcoming atmosphere, engaging with customers, and preparing delicious drinks using your expertise. Responsibilities:
- Ask for orders and prepare the customer's desired drinks in different varieties.
- Set up and clean the coffee/juice preparation area, ensuring readiness for store operations every shift.
- Participate in the pre-service briefing and maintain constant communication with customers to prepare ordered food in a standard and timely manner.
- Set up or restock other coffee merchandise displays and monitor stock levels, reporting to the Manager to ensure item availability.
- Report faulty equipment, machinery, service-ware, and any related issues/incidents to the Manager for smooth daily store operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain product knowledge and stay updated on menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
- Minimum diploma or Certificate of Barista or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in casual dining categories.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and passion for coffee, including different brewing methods and coffee bean characteristics.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment.
- Conceptual thinking, analytical ability, presentation skills, priority setting, and self-management.
- Excellent communication skills to understand customers.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
