This role will be based in Auckland. The Role We are looking for an experienced Digital Product Designer who has worked with Mobile Applications for an 8-week contract position starting immediately. This role will be based from Takapuna, Auckland and will involve a mix of onsite work and work from home. As a Digital Product Designer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting user research and discovery activities to inform design decisions.
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for digital products.
- Collaborating closely with the product team to refine user flows and interaction designs.
- Assisting in UI design with a focus on aesthetics and usability.
- Filling in on in-flight projects to help alleviate team workload and meet deadlines.
- Gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve designs.
- Strong proficiency in user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design (bias towards UI is preferred), and CX design.
- Experience working on UI/UX design for Mobile Applications is essential.
- Experience with digital design tools such as Figma.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process and outcomes.
