Job Description
To perform Gap Analysis to identify non-compliance to the latest safety, health and environmental regulations and recommend actions to close the gaps. · To work closely with site by providing support and assistance in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control exercise in all the site business activities. · To implement, monitor and report progress of Company’s HSE related Health & Safety KPIs. · To train, educate and ensure staffs use personal protective equipment (PPE). · To coordinate and conduct internal HSE related trainings e.g. HSE induction program on newly joined staffs. · To conduct incident/accident investigation with HSE committee member in the case of fatality, loss time incident, property damage and near miss recommend corrective and preventive actions. · To implement Emergency Response Plan (ERP) on the site under his/her responsibility. · To assist sites under his/her responsibility achieve HSE KPI sets by H&S Malaysia or H&S Global. · To consolidate accident/incident reporting and liaise with external bodies e.g. DOSH for all accident reporting. · To collect and compile all HSE data including statistic of any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, occupational disease and also unsafe act unsafe condition · To promote and raise awareness of all staffs on Health and Safety matters and follow-up poor practices and resolve. · To ensure that machinery and equipment complies with appropriate safety regulations, occupational health and safety specialists and technicians both may examine and test machinery and equipment. · To plan and coordinate the implementation of SGS industrial hygiene/ occupational hygiene plan for SGS staffs (e.g chemical health risk assessment, medical surveillance program)· To conduct periodic visit to sites to inspect and audit staffs, offices, laboratories and infrastructures to ensure compliance with HSE regulatory requirement, SGS Policy and procedures. · To adhere to SGS Code of Integrity and client confidentiality agreements.Qualifications
1. Diploma / Degree in OSH Management or equivalent 2. 3 years or more experiences in managing OSH and Environmental Management System 3. Mandatory to possess OSHC certificate 4. SHO certificate / Green Book is an advantageAdditional Information
