School Science Lab Technician

Job description: (including responsibilities, work requirements and skills) The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following: Working experience as Lab Technician in primary or secondary school. Prepare apparatus for science experiments before the lesson. Stock take of equipment and manage materials used in science experiments periodically. Send a logistic report on the stock checking per term. Monitor and alert the school for replenishment of materials. Assist HOD science in searching for vendors for purchasing science-related equipment when necessary. Perform simple repairs to any damaged electrical apparatus or similar work related to science. Knowledge of using and handling datalogger. Able to render first-aid service to students if necessary. Preferred qualifications and/or experience level of Temporary Employee(s) (if any): Have 2 years of prior experience in operations or job-related experience as mentioned above. Have basic computing skills such as Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel. Education Qualifications – 5 ‘O’ Level Passes. Knowledge of using and handling datalogger. #J-18808-Ljbffr
