Overview This position will be physically located in Bahrain in support of BBOSS. Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, supervise the daily operations of a Facilities trades shop in support of the Facility Manager. The Trades Supervisor provides technical/operational guidance and supervision to employees and teammates to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the following functions: Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of facilities, infrastructure, and utilities in the area of responsibility through inspections, preventive/corrective maintenance, and customer-generated work orders received through the facility work order reception desk (Service Desk). Support capabilities may include maintenance sections (Electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, Water, Heavy Equipment, General Maintenance, Facility Installation). Duties include assisting Program Management in providing a safe and secure workplace, overseeing the preventive and corrective maintenance programs, evaluating maintenance request forms, setting priorities, processing work assignments, monitoring operations of the facilities maintenance staff, maintaining all maintenance records, conducting training on time efficiencies and other programs, providing reports on safety and maintenance issues, and performing routine inspections for maintenance sections. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of a Facilities trades department in support of the Facility Manager. This is a “hands-on” position, not a desk-type atmosphere.
- The Trades Supervisor provides technical/operational guidance and supervision to employees and teammates to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) both verbally and “hands-on.”
- Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of facilities, infrastructure, and utilities in the area of responsibility through inspections, preventive/corrective maintenance, and customer-generated work orders received through the facility work order reception desk. Support capabilities may include maintenance sections (Electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, General Maintenance, Water, Heavy Equipment, and Facility Installation).
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.
- High School or equivalent experience
- A valid US driver's license
- Must be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC).
- Experience:
- Five (5) years of facilities maintenance experience with 2 years in a supervisory capacity of a similar project/department/branch related to these functions. Must be able to demonstrate good oral, written, and listening skills. Must possess strong knowledge in a skilled trade (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and/or carpentry).
- Skills:

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents.
- SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will supervise the Trades Section Leads of multiple disciplines, including Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical. May provide budgets and have signature authority.
