We have an urgent opening for a Technical Architect (Cloud & Infrastructure) at Synechron in Dubai. We are looking for candidates with more than 12 years of relevant experience. Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead and drive enterprise-level cloud architecture initiatives with a focus on Azure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong strategic thinking to design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:- Design and architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions leveraging Azure services while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Lead workload assessment initiatives to evaluate existing applications and infrastructure for cloud migration readiness.
- Develop comprehensive migration strategies and execution plans for complex workload transitions to Azure.
- Create detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for cloud solutions and infrastructure components.
- Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Active Directory.
- Architect secure connectivity solutions including hybrid networking, VPN, Express Route, and network security.
- Design and optimize database architectures across various platforms (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.).
- Establish and maintain cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, etc.).
- 12+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud technologies.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture patterns.
- Strong understanding of identity management solutions, specifically Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level network and connectivity solutions.
- Proven track record of successful large-scale cloud migration projects.
- Expert knowledge of database technologies and data architecture principles.
- Experience with compliance frameworks and security standards.
- Strong documentation skills with experience creating architecture artifacts and technical specifications.
- Cloud Security and Compliance
- Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
- Networking (VNet, Express Route, Azure VPN, Network Security Groups)
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Terraform)
- Cloud Migration Tools and Methodologies
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Experience with multi-cloud architectures.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Background in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
