Job Opportunity: Executive Chef at Luxury Hotel - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus.
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure all kitchen activities are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Ensure teamwork and maintain a positive work environment in the kitchen.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular checks on ingredients and equipment to maintain quality and hygiene.
  • Address any issues related to food quality or service promptly.

Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Assist in managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Monitor food costs and minimize waste without compromising quality.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients and supplies.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure all kitchen activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Promote adherence to food safety standards among all kitchen staff.

Client Support:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to meet specific client requirements.
  • Support the customization of menus for events, ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in professional kitchens, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of diverse cuisines.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Leadership and team management skills.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
