1. Conduct thorough physical examinations to diagnose health issues in animals.
2. Perform surgical procedures to treat injuries, deformities, and illnesses in animals.
3. Prescribe medications and provide recommendations on the proper use of drugs.
4. Provide emergency care during business hours and, if required, on-call support after hours.
5. Offer preventive care by administering vaccines and advising pet owners on nutrition and overall care.
6. Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records for all treated animals.
7. Educate pet owners on disease prevention, animal behavior, and home care needs.
8. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
9. Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in educational opportunities.

1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program.
2. Valid state veterinary board certification.
3. Proven experience as a veterinarian, veterinary intern, or veterinarian assistant (preferred but not required).
4. Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature.
5. Ability to make decisions and work independently.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
