The Role As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the Discount and Wholesale channels, following the acquisition of an exciting new brand. This role involves managing key customer relationships, owning P&L for specific accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement go-to-market strategies. This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic team, contributing to the broader success of the UK business while receiving tailored support for your professional development. Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by exceeding Net Sales, Trade Spend, and Marginal Income targets.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships, aligning their needs with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Lead business planning, forecasting, and invoice management processes.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Category, and Trade Marketing teams to implement brand activations.
- Manage full P&L for accounts in the Discount and Wholesale channels.
- Take ownership of inventory management, meeting predefined targets for surplus stock.
- Deliver business updates to internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
- 18-24 months’ experience in account management or sales within the FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with Health & Beauty brands or Discount/Wholesale channels is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of account management fundamentals, including P&L, negotiation, and forecasting.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Intermediate Excel skills and a results-driven approach to business challenges.
