Job Title: Platform Engineer Location: Bangalore BCIT Job Description Exp 5 to 7 Job Description:
- Collaborate within the team to apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
- Develop high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements.
- Participate as member of software development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance.
- Provide technical support and assistance to other non-technical members of the team.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Contribute in support and technical troubleshooting activity.
- Linux, PL/SQL, Programming languages (Java and shell scripting) , unix server knowledge etc ”
- Experience is 4-6 yrs
- Practical coding skills in at least 3 of the following: UNIX shell scripting, SQL , PL/SQL, Java, XSLT, Python and Perl.
- Working experience with CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jira, Teamcity, Artificatory , etc.
- Working experience with automation / job scheduling tools such as Autosys and Jenkins
- Working experience with Cloud technologies on AWS (cloud formation, networking, is highly desirable
- Good communication and organisation skills working within a DevOps team supporting a wider IT delivery team
