Job Purpose Summary Escentric Molecules is a well-established, privately owned niche fragrance brand with a cult following for almost 20 years. The brand founded by Geza Schoen (perfume nose) and Paul White (creative director) consists of a relatively small team based in London and Berlin with an entrepreneurial, passionate and creative culture. We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Ecommerce Manager to oversee the operation and growth of our ecommerce platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the global website, ensuring an exceptional user experience, overseeing the ecommerce development pipeline, promotional planning, management and optimisation of website content, and stock management. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of ecommerce best practices. Scope The Senior Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for: Website Management · Oversee the international ecommerce platform (Shopify Markets), ensuring it is user-friendly, optimized, and aligned with the brand's vision. · Manage the website development pipeline (and development agency) by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to implement new features and enhancements. · Ensure website updates (content, SEO, imagery, promotions, etc.) are accurate, timely, and optimized for conversion. · Monitor and improve website performance metrics, including speed, usability, and conversion rates. Stock Management · Forecast and manage inventory, ensuring all 3PLs maintain optimal stock levels to fulfill market demands. · Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to arrange stock transfers, minimizing stockouts or overstock situations. · Implement strategies to manage seasonal peaks and trends effectively. · Analyze stock data and provide actionable insights to improve demand forecasting and inventory turnover. Strategy & Operations · Develop and execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue growth. · Manage day-to-day ecommerce operations, ensuring smooth order processing, fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. · Analyze key ecommerce metrics and deliver regular performance reports with insights and recommendations. · Develop and implement promotion and content strategy, ensuring the calendar is regularly maintained and up-to-date. · Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Team Collaboration & Leadership · Act as the main point of contact between cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, sales and logistics) to ensure alignment on ecommerce goals. · Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of innovation and performance excellence. · Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Customer Experience & Marketing Integration · Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize digital campaigns, SEO, and paid media efforts for the ecommerce channel. · Ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey across all touchpoints, from website browsing to post-purchase. · Leverage customer feedback and analytics to continuously enhance the user experience. Person Specification Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in ecommerce management.
  • The ideal candidate should have a background and experience within UK retail, preferably beauty.
