Presales Technical Consultant

Presales Technical Consultant | UK Hybrid | £70,000-£90,000 I am working with a private equity backed consultancy who won MSSP of the year 2021 and provide top class support to their clients. They are looking for a Presales Technical Consultant to join their team. This role is very much focused around supporting the sales team and bridging the gap between them and the technical teams. You will support and communicate with multiple clients, discussing the requirements and providing technical advice in a non-technical way so that they can understand. You will communicate with stakeholders within these companies, keeping them up to date with projects being undertaken, this involves attending meetings, conference calls and also presenting documents/presentations. This role offers some great benefits, with pay rises in mind for the future, as well as the opportunity to progress down multiple avenues. Role includes:

• Creating LLD and HLD's documents for customer solutions
• Being able to break down technical terms in a non-technical way
• Liaising with multiple clients on scoping/requirements and also working closely with the sales team
• Utilising your technical knowledge of different tools and Security products such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto and Fortinet.

Essential experience:

• Around 5 years experience within a technical role or 3 years within technical presales
• Strong experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto and Fortinet security products
• Experience with SOC technologies and Microsoft products preferred but not essential
• The ability to speak comfortably with multiple clients and discuss requirements/scoping in full
• Extensive understanding of TCP/IP
• Some SD WAN experience or knowledge as a minimum
