Business Development/Investor Relations | Nordics | Asset Management A globally respected asset management firm, known for its innovative investment strategies, is seeking an experienced and driven business development professional to join their team in Copenhagen. About the Role This position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in the firm's expansion within the Nordic institutional market. Partnering with their head of sales for the region, you will be instrumental in capital-raising efforts, relationship management, and market development. Key aspects of the role include:
- Capital Raising: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to raise assets across the firm's product suite, tailoring approaches to align with client needs and preferences.
- Client Relationship Management: Build, deepen, and maintain relationships with institutional investors, leveraging your existing network to establish credibility and trust.
- Market Intelligence: Stay attuned to developments within the Nordic market, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders to help shape product offerings and strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with investment, marketing, and operational teams to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of direct experience in business development or capital raising within asset management, with a proven ability to deliver results.
- Network: A strong, established network of institutional investors within the Nordic region is essential.
- Multilingual: Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred, particularly within the Nordic region, to better serve clients and build relationships across different markets.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and identify new opportunities in a competitive market.
- Investment Knowledge: A solid understanding of investment strategies and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to sophisticated clients.
- Collaboration Skills: A team-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
