Senior Python Developer – Machine Learning Software Development Company Background: TekRek has partnered with a 150+ person digital solutions firm that empowers businesses to focus on scaling capabilities without the burden of complex IT systems. This role would be in a newly created R&D team that’s focused on applying the newest technologies to help the company grow. It is a 2 day a week in office hybrid role, office is Downtown Toronto. Job Description: As a core member of the engineering team, you will:

• Develop scalable and efficient Python applications for machine learning and AI use cases.
• Architect software components, workflows, and APIs that ensure optimal performance and seamless integration with advanced AI technologies.
• Deploy applications using containerized environments like Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and availability in cloud-based systems.

Job Requirements:

• 8 years progressive software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning applications.
• Advanced expertise in Python programming
• Experience with containerized deployment in Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong skills in designing APIs and ensuring software scalability.
