Hays Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled lawyer with seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience to join our client's litigation team. Our client is a major player in the real estate sector in Quebec, with a diversified portfolio of industrial, office, commercial, and residential properties. Position Overview We are currently seeking a lawyer with a strong interest in real estate law. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, the lawyer will be responsible for managing significant litigation files and regularly appearing before various judicial and administrative bodies in Quebec. Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee significant litigation files.
- Represent the company in various judicial and administrative bodies.
- Provide legal advice on real estate matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address legal issues.
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Law and a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;
- Possess betweenseven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in commercial litigation, with experience in real estate being an asset;
- Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
- Health and dental insurance: after 3 months.
- RRSP deduction.

- Bar fees and training covered (Quebec).
- Annual salary increases.

- Gérer et superviser des dossiers de litige d'envergure.
- Représenter la société devant diverses instances judiciaires et administratives.
- Fournir des conseils juridiques en matière immobilière.
- Collaborer avec les équipes internes pour résoudre les problèmes juridiques.
- Titulaire d’un baccalauréat en droit civil et être membre en règle du Barreau du Québec;
- Détenir entre sept (7) à dix (10) années d’expérience dans le domaine du litige commercial, une expérience dans le domaine immobilier est un atout;
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
- Assurance santé et dentaire: après 3 mois.
- Déduction REER.
