About the job Senior Manager- HR & L&D The organisation works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth. This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation. The orgnaisation run through a public-private partnership that empowers the Government, Corporates, NGOs and Citizens to work together towards changing lives. About the role: We are looking for a Senior Manager - HR who will lead and execute our human resource strategies. This pivotal role will have strategic direction, encompassing areas such as succession planning, talent management, organisational performance, training and development, and compensation. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of individuals within the NGO, ultimately contributing to the achievement of its mission and objectives.

- Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Preferably experience in designing and managing learning and development programs, preferably within the nonprofit or NGO sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact, social justice, and the values of the NGO sector.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), online collaboration tools, and e-learning platforms.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs and emerging trends in nonprofit L&D.
- Experience working in cross-cultural contexts is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Sincerely passionate about L&D and making a change.
- Experience in talent management, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Knowledge of change management principles and organizational development.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
