Senior IT Recruitment Consultant @ Solas IT Recruitment | ERF CertRP Sharepoint/Power Platform Developer As part of our ongoing transition to a modern Microsoft-based environment, we’re looking for a Senior Business Software Developer to join our small, dynamic technology team. This permanent role reports to the Business Software Development Lead and will involve designing, developing, testing, and maintaining business applications, especially in areas like document and knowledge management. You’ll primarily work with Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft O365, low-code/no-code solutions, and emerging AI-based tools. What You’ll Do:

1. Technical Leadership: Guide the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using the Microsoft O365 stack.
2. Software Development: Create solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), SharePoint SPFx, Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, Microsoft Graph, and related tools. Improve existing development frameworks and standards.
3. Solution Design: Design and implement robust solutions aligned with user needs and business goals.
4. Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute testing processes to ensure high-quality solutions.
5. Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing support for existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous functionality.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and help implement best practices within the team.
7. Project Management: Assist with project planning and management as needed.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

1. 4 years + of experience in software development, including with low code/no code solutions and development frameworks (particularly workflow based solutions).
2. Proficiency with Microsoft O365 stack, especially SharePoint Online/SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, Power Platform, PowerShell, Azure services (e.g., Key Vault, Azure Storage).
3. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft Identity Platform is a plus.
4. Knowledge of low-code/no-code development frameworks.
5. SQL (MSSQL) experience, including basic database administration, is beneficial.
6. Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, including source code control.
7. Experience in supporting and migrating legacy systems is a plus.
8. Knowledge of data integration (via SSIS or REST APIs) is beneficial.
