Director of Business Development

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to:- Oversee and be accountable for the full spectrum of Room Sales and Catering Sales Management and Operations for the Hotel. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Foster strong relationships with key industry influencers and key strategic partners. Champion innovation and guide the team through change management initiatives. Manage total revenue management, ensuring optimal pricing strategies. Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets. Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Manage and direct staff including recruitment, selection, and development to achieve Company goals and objectives. Train and develop the sales and marketing team to achieve service excellence. Cultivate a culture of diversity and inclusion within the department. Track team performance and implement incentive programs to drive results. Lead service innovation initiatives to elevate the guest experience. Develop and oversee financial budgets and plans to achieve profitability goals. Capitalize on technological advancements to gain a competitive advantage. Provide strategic direction and leadership during crisis situations. Requirements:- Possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years in similar position or equivalent capacity. Ability to lead and delegate. Highly motivated leader and results driven.
