Packaging Development Engineer

MoD is currently on the lookout for a Packaging Engineer for a 1-year contract with one of our clients! In this role you will deliver R&D activities needed to complete packaging development for various projects with a strong focus on consumer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions - Work collaboratively as well as independently with the guidance of a manager - Identify problems proactively and create and implement solutions independently - Prioritize and manage various R&D activities - Communicate effectively verbally and in writing (technical writing)- Have the consumer at top of mind for development activities Key Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline - 4 years’ experience in a packaging development role (including co-op/internship experience)- Utilize graphics experience and apply knowledge around the printing process - Ability to work with different levels of the organization - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Ability to get results through working with a diverse team - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage complexity - Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for domestic vendor/manufacturing visits Does this sound like you or someone you know in your professional network?
