Endoscopy Educator responsibilities:- Provide education to patients prior to GI and pulmonary procedures via phone, writing, and MyChart
- Gather information from patients regarding medical history, medications, labs and any other diagnostic studies
- Receive phone calls from patients and answer their questions related to upcoming procedures
- Perform post operative phone calls to patients
- Follow department policies and protocols associated with endoscopic procedures
- Collaborate with endoscopy procedural team and scheduling team to set up patient appointments
