We work in the transport and energy sectors, providing consultancy, engineering and operations services for clients such as major airports, governments, regulators, cities and rail and road operators. You will be based in our Project in Riyadh.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Document Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and control of project documentation, ensuring compliance and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead the implementation and maintenance of document control systems and processes in Aconex
Review, number, and submit project documents with unique references and revisions
Manage the upload and download of project documents to Aconex
Maintain an up-to-date Document Control register and track all incoming and outgoing project documents
Conduct quality checks on documents to ensure compliance before filing and distribution
Organize and manage digital archiving processes for efficient document retrieval
Coordinate with various departments and external consultants to support documentation needs
Administer Project Aconex systems, managing user permissions and access
Develop and maintain document control workflows for upcoming project stages
Perform regular audits and compliance checks on document control systems and processes
Provide training and guidance to team members on document control best practices
Act as the subject matter expert in document management, promoting efficient and compliant practices

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience in document control roles within construction, rail, or infrastructure sectors
Proficiency in Aconex and EDMS systems (e.g., ALIM, Asite, SharePoint, ProjectWise) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of document control best practices, quality assurance, and compliance procedures
Experience with digital archiving processes and efficient document retrieval systems
Qualifications in Information Management, Administration, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
Adaptability to dynamic project environments and a proactive, solution-driven approach
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex documentation systems
Experience in the construction, rail, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable
