Research Fellow (Vascular Biology/Microfluidics) Apply locations NTU Main Campus, Singapore Time type: Part-time Posted on: Posted 2 Days Ago Job requisition id: R00019442 The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. To develop microfluidic-based vascular platforms for atherosclerosis, immunology, and extracellular vesicles research. Responsibilities include but are not limited to microfluidics engineering, cell culture, processing biofluid (e.g. blood) samples, data analysis/reporting, grant writing, and supervision of PhD students. Key Responsibilities: Work on a project to develop novel microfluidics and organ-on-chip platforms Perform research related to diabetes, atherosclerosis, and peripheral arterial diseases Perform in vitro drug testing using microfluidics and in-vitro assays Fabrication and validation of microfluidic devices using cell lines, blood, and clinical samples Job Requirements: Interested candidates should possess a PhD degree qualification in biomedical engineering, vascular biology, or a relevant biological discipline. We seek a motivated individual who can work well independently as well as with a team. Experience in organ-on-chip and/or vascular biology research Experience in basic cell and molecular biology techniques (mammalian cell culture, PCR, RT-PCR, and ELISA), microscopy, and flow cytometry Experience in immunology or extracellular vesicles is an advantage Strong publication track record We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified. #J-18808-Ljbffr
