Job Description: The BIM Architect will be responsible for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create and manage digital representations of architectural designs. They will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop detailed 3D models that support the design and construction process. The BIM Architect will also be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of BIM workflows. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed architectural designs using BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure accurate representation of design intent.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to incorporate BIM data into the construction process.
- Create and maintain 3D models and generate associated documentation.
- Review and analyze project specifications to identify potential clashes or issues.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM software and processes.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish and enforce BIM standards.
- Research and implement emerging BIM technologies and best practices.
- Monitor project progress and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or Bentley AECOsim.
- Knowledge of architectural design principles and construction processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
