Primary Scope of Role :
- Ensure all projects are planned and executed within scope & schedule.
- Report progress, resource requirements, and escalate issues to the Project Manager
- Perform project using appropriate human and capital resources, tools, and techniques.
- Ensure adherence to all required safety plans (site specific plans, traffic plans, OHSA, etc.)
- Ensure safety of crew members and follow all required safety documentation.
- Create reports required by the Project Manager (i.E.: Daily Work Records, Timesheets, Production Reports, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of GIP Interpaving Limited Health & Safety Policy Program.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Civil Engineering background considered an asset.
- Knowledge and Experience in Road Construction
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System and best practices within areas of responsibility.
- Knowledge of the applications of Book 7 of the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM)
- Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, possess a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record.
