Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced L3 System Specialist – in Islamabad, Pakistan to join our Islamabad team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise in managing and troubleshooting servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure. This role involves providing remote support to our international clients, ensuring their IT environments operate seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server Operating Systems (2008 through 2022). Storage Solutions: Manage and support storage systems from vendors like Dell, HP, and IBM, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to maintain robust and secure connectivity. Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi/vSphere/vSAN and Microsoft Hyper-V. System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct regular backups, and implement disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability. Security Compliance: Implement security and hardening policies, perform vulnerability assessments, and apply necessary patches and updates. Collaboration: Work closely with client teams to resolve issues, analyze system logs, and build long-term relationships for consistent support. Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Proven experience in managing servers, storage, and network infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Certifications: Dell EMC Certified Specialist (DCS) HP Accredited Solutions Expert (ASE) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) CompTIA Network+ Splunk Core Certified User (for system log management and analysis) Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
