Description Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings under construction.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
Install and troubleshoot electrical panels, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical components.
Conduct routine inspections and repairs on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes.
Collaborate with other construction workers to coordinate electrical work with plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
Test electrical systems using a variety of tools, including voltmeters, ammeters, and circuit testers.
Follow safety procedures and regulations to minimize risk and avoid accidents.
Maintain proper documentation of electrical work, including reports, permits, and inspection records.
Work with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
