Value Stream Analyst, Network Losses, Central Functions - Rest of the World (RoW) Job ID: 2875208 | Amazon Asia-Pacific Holdings Private Limited The Network Loss reduction team across RoW is looking for an innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed Business Analyst. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent technical skills, and should be able to juggle multiple tasks at once. Ideal candidates must be able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. The candidate must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience, and get the right things done. This job requires you to constantly hit the ground running and have the ability to learn quickly. Primary responsibilities include defining the problem and building analytical frameworks to help the operations streamline the process, identifying gaps in the existing process by analyzing data and liaising with relevant team(s), and analyzing data and metrics to share updates with internal teams. Knowledge of analytical tools and understanding operational processes to develop value streams enabling business owners to make data-driven decisions is a key deliverable of the role. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience using very large datasets
- Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts
