About the job: The candidate will join the Corporate Lending Asia team, which is responsible for the marketing, structuring and execution of corporate loan transactions with BBVA’s corporate and financial Institution clients across Asia Pacific. This position is based in Singapore (preferred) or Hong Kong (optional). The primary role will involve leading and coordinating corporate loan transactions with clients in South East Asia and India, with the possibility of expanding coverage to other countries in the APAC region as needed. Key Responsibilities: Origination, structuring and execution of corporate loan transactions, including syndicated loans, club loans, bilateral loans, sustainable loans and event driven financings Building and managing strong relationships with existing and prospect clients to understand their evolving financial needs and identify business opportunities Structuring bespoke financing solutions tailored to clients’ specific requirements Preparing pitch books and other marketing materials with the aim of winning mandates Negotiating terms and conditions with clients, including commercial terms, covenants, and security packages Preparing proposals for business and credit committees Drafting/reviewing loan documentation and syndication materials such as term sheets, facility agreements, mandate letters, invite letters, info memorandum and bank meeting presentations Coordinating with internal departments (e.g., client coverage, loan syndicate and sales, risk, legal, compliance, tax, sustainable finance, market and administrative teams) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, banks and legal counsel) to ensure the seamless execution of transactions Coaching and mentoring junior team members Skills: Analytical Decision Making Asia Pacific Markets Communication Credit Risks Customer-Focused Economics English Language Finance Goal-Oriented Loan Syndicated Loans Teamwork #J-18808-Ljbffr
