About the role

This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing transport plans and strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and services. It involves liaising with clients, logistics partners, and internal teams to achieve seamless operational performance. Office location: Second Industrial City, Jeddah - Jazan Highway

Key responsibilities

Develop and manage transport schedules, routes, and plans based on demand and constraints.
Track shipments till delivery & POD is received.
Optimize transport and logistics costs while maintaining service quality.
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate transport activities.
Monitor and analyze transportation metrics and performance indicators to identify areas of improvement.
Use transport planning tools and software for route optimization and planning.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, laws, and safety standards.
Prepare reports on transport activity, costs, and performance metrics.
Work collaboratively with warehouse, supply chain, and customer service teams to meet operational goals.
Report on credit block inventory.

Qualifications and skills

Preferably a recognized Diploma/bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Preferably a minimum of 3-4 years’ working experience in logistics/shipping/export function.
Good to have experience in exports within GCC.
Good command of English.
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
SAP experience is a plus.
Possess strong planning and analytical skills and be able to take complex issues and break down actions for resolutions while working with tight deadlines.
A solid communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders and is not afraid to challenge decisions when seeing better alternatives or potential pitfalls.
Possess strong business acumen with deep operational insights as well as an open nature and collaborative mindset that enable working cohesively with people from different functions and levels.
A motivated and driven individual with the core competencies required to succeed in a demanding and challenging working environment.
Good problem-solving and decision-making ability to enhance workflow efficiencies and effectiveness.
