Shelter Group Smart Cities IoT / AI division is seeking an experienced Information Technology business head to lead the business unit in Qatar, and onboard into the ambitious growth and development plans of the group in the region. The Business unit leader will be responsible for providing a comprehensive understanding of the company’s smart city infrastructure IT solutions and services, translating technical information into value propositions for clients, and delivering tailored ICT and IoT solutions to key customers with strong exposure to key governmental accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as the primary contact for all client needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and generate leads through networking and market presence.
  • Solution Presentation: Prepare and deliver effective client presentations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and client satisfaction.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities, manage the entire sales cycle, and aim to exceed assigned targets.
  • Technical Knowledge & Support: Gain a comprehensive understanding of company IT solutions and services, translating technical information into value propositions for clients.
  • Client Success & Satisfaction: Leverage client feedback to improve services and proactively address any issues to prevent escalation.
  • Industry Networking: Attend events and maintain a market presence to generate leads and strengthen client relations.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of service by adhering to organizational protocols and responding effectively to client needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a related field.
  • Masters or advanced studies in Business Administration and Leadership.
  • Proven sales experience in the field of Sales and Technology / Smart Cities, particularly in Qatar, with insights into market dynamics in Kuwait, Oman, and KSA.
  • Minimum experience of 8 years in a similar role.
  • Strong client relationship management, communication, and technical sales skills.
