Airfield Manager

Location: Bahrain International Airport, Muharraq,Bahrain. Job Title: Airfield Manager Job Type: Full-Time

• Oversee day-to-day airfield operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to military and aviation standards.
• Conduct airfield inspections, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational readiness.
• Supervise airfield construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational needs.
• Act as the primary liaison with local and international aviation authorities, tenants, and government representatives.
• Develop and manage operational plans for emergency situations, contingencies, and wartime operations.
• Provide subject matter expertise for airfield safety programs, including Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
• Deliver briefings to senior management on airfield operations and provide recommendations for policy improvements.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in airfield management or aviation operations.
• In-depth knowledge of NATOPS Airfield Operations Manual and other regulatory standards (UFC, ICAO, FAA).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Military airfield management experience preferred.

• Expertise in airfield safety protocols and management practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including military and civilian personnel.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in preparing reports and maintaining operational documentation.
