Location: Bahrain International Airport, Muharraq, Bahrain. Job Title: Assistant Airfield Manager Job Type: Full-Time
Duties:
- Support the Airfield Manager in the oversight of daily airfield operations and administrative processes
- Monitor and supervise airfield construction projects to ensure alignment with operational and safety standards
- Perform inspections, document findings, and coordinate corrective measures for deficiencies
- Act as the primary point of contact for airfield management in the absence of the Airfield Manager
- Assist in planning and coordinating tenant activities and flight line support requirements
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for airfield improvements and policy enhancements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in airfield operations or aviation management
- Familiarity with airfield inspection protocols and safety programs such as BASH and FOD
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Military airfield experience preferred
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
- Solid understanding of airfield management principles and practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain effective communication channels
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting operational data and preparing detailed reports
