Job Description: The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department and managing the production of baked goods and desserts. They will develop and execute pastry recipes and menu items, train and supervise pastry staff, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pastry recipes and menu items.
- Supervise and train pastry staff, including pastry cooks and bakers.
- Manage the production and presentation of all pastry products.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are met in terms of taste, appearance, and texture.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate menu items.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Stay up to date with trends and innovations in pastry arts.
- Culinary degree with a focus on pastry arts.
- Proven experience as an executive pastry chef or a similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in creating a variety of pastry items.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
