Due to continued growth the business has an excellent opportunity for a talented Structural Engineer to join the team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified Structural Engineer with at least 2 years of experience working for a Structural Engineering Consultancy. The business is hoping to find an individual focused towards becoming chartered and showing a keen interest in attending industry events and seminar. There is a strong focus around mentorship and shared learning and a proven track record in guiding engineers through chartership. Projects are diverse and interesting, spanning commercial, education, and leisure sectors. They include high-profile schemes for luxury retail and prestigious commercial clients. About you..
- 2-4 years’ experience in a design-based role in a UK consultancy.
- Experience of developing designs in a range of Structural materials including concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
- Ability to communicate effectively, explaining ideas to colleagues, clients and external collaborators.
- Ability to produce design information and structural reports
- Knowledge of Revit, Robot and Tekla Structural Designer would be an advantage.
- the ability to create drawings, sketches, and reports, with a high level of detail in line with project timescales.
