Financial Accountant Central London (Hybrid)£50 - 60,000 + benefits German Speaking required A global manufacturing company is recruiting an Financial Accountant to join its finance team. As the company continues to grow, it is seeking a skilled and proactive individual to manage financial reporting and support key financial processes. This newly created role will report to the Senior Manager of Group Reporting & Consolidation and be responsible for preparing financial accounts, coordinating with local teams, and overseeing the preparation of the financial reporting package. The role will also include preparing local GAP financial statements, managing intercompany reconciliation, and providing crucial analysis for senior management. The successful candidate will serve as the key user for SAP FI and act as a technical accountant, supporting the Senior Manager in preparing the consolidated group financial package. They will be responsible for liaising with local and group auditors, ensuring the correct application of the group accounting manual (IFRS similar), and maintaining accurate financial accounts across multiple entities. Additionally, the role will involve reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with local and group accounting standards and assisting with ad hoc financial analysis for management. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and at least five years of recent experience in accounting, applying various accounting standards, and working with SAP. Strong experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), exceptional data analytics skills, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of German is highly desirable.
