Integration Engineer

Job title: Principal Nuclear Integration Engineer Job Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £65,000 per year Location: Barrow-In-Furness Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week Applicants must have experience of the following:

• Degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline such as mechanical, electrical, nuclear, chemistry or physics
• Knowledge of the nuclear industry and nuclear regulations
• Exposure to the engineering project lifecycle

Ideally applicants should also have:

• Technical report writing and presentation skills
• Experience justifying design changes
• Civil engineering or defense industry experience

Role information:

• Review and assess design documentation and design changes
• Assess plant build maturity for entry into subsequent build phases
• Ensure the design intent is maintained during the build and commissioning phases
• Present reports regarding problems and resolutions
• Solve problems through innovative engineering solutions
• Provide documentation for the project safety case
