Position: Junior Graphic Designer (Contract – 18 Months) Reports To: VP, Marketing Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our in-house marketing team at NADG (Markham, Ontario) on a contract basis to cover for maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn. This is an exciting opportunity for a budding designer to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a variety of projects. Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of visual content for digital and print media, including brochures, corporate documents, and web graphics.
- Creation and modification of company shopping centre plans (100+).
- Printing and document binding.
- Collaborate with senior designers and other team members to develop creative concepts and design solutions.
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
- Prepare and package final design files for production.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
- Intermediate knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Intermediate graphic/photo editing, design, layout skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of HTML/Wordpress and website knowledge is a plus.
