Deputy Shift Supervisor (Permanent)

Aurivo Consumer Foods, Achonry, Sligo Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. Opportunity:

Reporting to the site manager, the successful candidate will manage the receipt, storage and despatch of Milk and Butter products. This role is a shift-based permanent role and represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to progress and develop within one of Ireland's leading multi-discipline Co-operatives. Shift: 10am - 10pm Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and on Sunday (10am - 4pm)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Day to day effective management of the team.
2. Drive safe and efficient warehouse practices that meet our quality standards.
3. Ensure GMP/Housekeeping are at a high level within the area through the involvement of all team members.
4. Monitor, deliver and report against site metrics and KPIs.
5. Work collaboratively with other departments on site and our logistic contractors.
6. Carry out essential administration duties, quality and safety documentation, holiday planning, staff training, and staff appraisals.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Excellent communication and team leading skills.
2. Ability to delegate.
3. Ability to work well as part of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
4. Attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
5. A flexible approach regarding hours of work is essential.
6. Ability to live and deliver on Aurivo's values of Trust, Team, Will to Win and Value.
