Emiratization Specialist | Bridging Opportunities for Nationals in Top Industries
General Overview : We have an exciting opportunity for a smart, dynamic UAEN graduate to join our client, a Multinational Insurance Company in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the business to implement and embed the Risk Management framework for the UAE operations. Key Responsibilities :- Ensuring that the UAE Branch operates within the Company’s Board approved Risk Management Framework and is compliant with all Group Risk Policies.
- Ensuring that local Senior Management feel sufficiently informed about risks in the UAE Branch; and that business practices are developed in line with best practice.
- Monitoring operational, conduct and regulatory risks through the use and maintenance of risk registers, incident, and breach logs.
- Reviewing and challenging recommendations received from the business to manage risks back within appetite.
- Developing, embedding and reporting on appropriate monitoring measurements for material risk exposures, such as key risk indicators.
- Supporting the UAE Branch with the escalation, assessment (including root cause), management and resolution of risk incidents.
- Writing accurate, clear and concise reports for, and providing Management Information to, Senior Management and the Board; to provide proactive and forward-looking assessments to enable risk-based decision making.
- Undertaking operational, conduct and regulatory risk and control “deep dive” reviews across the business, identifying areas of control improvement and agreeing appropriate actions with local management.
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions and present complex problems clearly.
- Influencing skills – build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders, enabling constructive dialogue through trust.
- Adaptability – embrace new challenges, thrive in change, and provide flexible support to the team.
- Results-driven mindset – supported by strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
