Network Asset Manager

Fluid Recruitment is proud to exclusively partner with Electra in searching for its new Network Asset Manager, reporting to the GM Network. The Company Rapidly growing, Electra serves the vibrant communities of the Horowhenua and Kāpiti regions. Trust and locally owned, it is focused on providing innovative electricity distribution services in the forms of its network and contracting business units. With offices located throughout the two regions, including Paraparaumu and Levin, a relaxed and coastal lifestyle is on offer with the added benefit of being the gateway to the Wellington and Manawatu regions. The Role Responsible for leading the asset strategy and lifecycle planning function of Electra's existing assets, you will ensure appropriate asset fleet plans are in place and asset replacement/renewals are forecast effectively to maintain a high-performing network. Leading Electra's asset management evolution in conjunction with your team of 5 engineers, you will spearhead or play a key role in a number of initiatives including:

• The continual development of existing risk models
• Alignment to ISO 50001
• Implementation of an asset management system

Supported by the GM Network, you will develop and present business cases, board papers, and regulatory submissions that benefit Electra's rapidly growing communities. About You A pivotal role, you will have strong experience in asset management specific to electrical assets in distribution, transmission, or generation. You may be in a similar leadership role looking for a new opportunity or an experienced asset engineer ready to take that next step. You will be comfortable providing leadership and technical support to your team and the broader business. This will include working closely with the Network Planning and Network Engineering teams in strategic decisions that benefit the long-term condition of the network. Equally, you'll collaborate with Project & Programme Delivery ensuring that your teams' projects and programmes are on track and delivered effectively.
