The Cluster Sales Executive implements all sales activities in their area of responsibility and assists the Director of Sales Manager in the development of managed sales segments (Corporate, Wholesale, Catering & Groups) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts and consistently striving to maximize revenue for Hilton Auckland, DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka, and Hilton Lake Taupo.

What will I be doing?

As the Cluster Sales Executive, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Complete the relevant Hilton University courses promptly and pass the tests.
2. Receive and understand hotel product knowledge and related activities.
3. Implement all sales action plans related to your market area as outlined in the marketing plan.
4. Establish and maintain files on major active accounts within your market areas.
5. Promote and produce sales leads for other Hilton hotels.
6. Provide feedback to the Cluster Director of Sales/Senior Sales Managers/Sales Managers on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone calls, and direct mail in your market areas.
7. Assist Sales Managers in conducting hotel inspections for all walk-ins, meeting groups, and contracted clients, planning next steps for future follow-ups.
8. Meet and welcome some top key accounts, group organizers, and VIP guests upon check-in.
9. Disseminate sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.
10. Attend all pre-conference meetings as required, arranged by the Banquet Sales department, and assist in the preparation of post-conference reports.
11. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
12. Establish and maintain effective team member relations.
13. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, and team members.
14. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
15. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

5. Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
6. Good team player.
7. Have hotel sales experience and hotel database.
