Who We Are Lifelong Investments is a boutique private capital firm providing passive realty backed investments. We are in the 8th year of delivering our no fee realty funds through our direct retail channel. We are looking for a Capital Raising Business Development Manager (BDM) that is passionate about wealth management and real estate that can exponentially scale our Funds. Position Overview The Business Development Manager will roll up the sleeves to achieve or exceed the organizations weekly, monthly and annual sales targets. A thorough understanding of existing and prospective clients is always required, as such, the BDM will always be selling and often client facing. The BDM will work closely with the Sales Associates to understand the needs of the investment team to manage growth. The BDM will report into the Investments Director and Management to communicate opportunities to drive sales. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with sales associates to drive sales results on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Lead daily sales huddles, weekly sales calls, and reporting, along with monthly presentations to Management
  • Execute business plan initiatives in collaboration with the Investments Director
  • Drive investment fund product development initiatives by reporting sales activity results and recommendations for improvements
  • Identify growth opportunities and potential partnerships and follow through by scheduling meetings to drive business growth
  • CRM management to ensure sales activity and data integrity are at peak performance
  • Take ultimate responsibility for scaling up our investment funds by driving client acquisitions
  • Deal with escalations by the Sales Associates and participate in onboarding meetings
  • Complete ad hoc tasks relating to existing clients and manage opportunities for growing existing relationships
  • Maintain a complex understanding of our investment offerings and market trends, and make report to Sales and Marketing teams
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 5+ years financial services, real estate, investments or related sales experience in a client facing capacity
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing a growing portfolio of clients
  • A post-secondary degree and/or qualification in a related field, including Business, Finance, Real Estate, Investments
  • Passion for wealth management and real estate
Required Skills
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills: ability to explain development strategies and offering details, and handle client concerns in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability
  • Understanding and interest in financial services and investments
  • Passion for selling and a track record of meeting and exceeding personal targets
  • Proficiency with a large CRM database is preferred (I.E. Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, etc.)
Other Qualifications
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the best interest of the company
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, think outside of the box and deliver solutions
  • Thorough knowledge of the regulatory environment and other aspects of private capital markets
  • Organized and can work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines
  • Real estate experience and/or exempt market investment experience in private equity/debt is preferred
  • Fluency in more than one language is an asset
