Position Summary: Sr. Manager, Facilities We are looking for an McDonald’s in India Site Facilities Lead who will report to the McDonald’s India Lead. The Facilities Lead will be responsible for managing all aspects of the physical environment within the McDonald’s in India Office in Hyderabad. This includes overseeing facility services and maintenance while ensuring that the center operates efficiently and meets global standards. The ideal candidate will be an expert in facilities management with strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:
- Lead the ongoing services of the McDonald’s in India facility, including maintenance, security, housekeeping, and vendor management, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.
- Develop and implement facility management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Adhere to the budget for facility operations, optimizing costs while maintaining high-quality services and facilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support office expansion, renovations, space planning, and office moves.
- Implement health, safety, and environmental policies within the facility, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and address potential risks.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for facility management, using data-driven insights to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the technology and HR teams to ensure that facilities support the needs of McDonald’s in India employees, including tech infrastructure, workspace configurations, and employee wellness initiatives.
- Lead emergency response planning, including fire safety, evacuation drills, and crisis management protocols to safeguard McDonald’s in India personnel and assets.
- Act as the primary point of contact for building management and external vendors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
- 12+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably within a shared service center (SSC) or large corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications in facilities management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in overseeing management, including maintenance, security, space planning, and vendor management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing facilities budgets, optimizing costs, and negotiating vendor contracts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement facilities solutions that support business operations and employee needs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building and developing high-performing facilities teams.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with experience in implementing compliance initiatives within a corporate environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and building management.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools for tracking performance, planning maintenance, and optimizing space utilization. Previous experience with Tridium Niagara Framework, Corrigo, Cisco Spaces, Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint will be helpful.
