Sports Specialist

The Department of Sports Science & Management is seeking a dynamic and dedicated faculty member to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and service in the fields of sports science and management, fostering academic excellence and preparing students for successful careers in the sports industry. Key Responsibilities Teaching :

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Sports Science, Sports Management, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Sports Marketing, Event Management, or related areas.
• Design engaging, research-based course content that aligns with academic standards and industry needs.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods, including online and blended learning approaches.

• Conduct high-quality research in areas such as sports science, management, performance analysis, sports technology, or related fields.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues, industry professionals, and other academic institutions to advance research initiatives.

• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation processes.
• Engage in community outreach activities and build partnerships with sports organizations.
• Promote the department’s mission through student recruitment and retention efforts.

• A Doctoral/ Master's degree in Sports Science, Sports Management, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the university level.
• Strong record of research with publications in reputable journals.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Professional experience in the sports industry.
• Experience with grantsmanship and securing external funding.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in sports science and management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
