Job Title: Application Support Lead Experience: 8+ Years. Job Type: Full time Permanent. Job Location: Gurgaon / Gurugram, India. Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced IT Application Support Lead to join our application development and support team. The IT Application Support Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of IT application services based on a defined application portfolio. In this position you will be responsible for managing development and configuration activities provided by internal and external partner(s), ensuring that IT support services is delivered efficiently and effectively with quality. Areas of concern for this role

  • A focus on customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery, with strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness with ability to drive engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve delivery.
  • Confident under pressure and maintains a positive attitude despite adversity.
  • Able to speak to Senior Leadership Team regarding status
Responsibilities:
  • Lead external partner(s) to ensure delivery and continuity of application delivery and support.
  • Regularly update senior management on service performance, issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build new ways of working to reduce redundancy with automation and implement measures to enhance service quality while reducing costs
  • Maintain and evolve strong onboarding governance as technology changes and evolves
  • Provide Technical leaderships skills with strong communication skills to manage teams, collaborate across departments, and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Reduce services costs through innovative ideas to drive improved performance of the services being delivered
  • Participate in the resolution of complex tasks, activities or support issues that require increased leadership to ensure proper linkages across all stakeholders
  • Identify areas for service improvement and implement measures to enhance service quality while reducing costs
  • Understanding various technologies and infrastructure dependencies
  • Participate in project working sessions to understand future changes being proposed to the supporting environment
  • Build and Maintain application documentation for the support organization
  • Participate in yearly audits
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for interface-related problems between systems.
  • Resolve issues from data being passed between two systems when two systems are not in synchronization.
  • Recommend improvements to existing data flows to self-correct errors through programming
Key Qualifications & Experiences:
  • 5 or more years of IT experience in Application Development with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • University degree or college diploma in a relevant field- Technology/Computer Science/Project management.
  • Must have experience working with a third-party support team
  • Must have the ability and knowledge needed to design, create and maintain databases using SQL. Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. Azure SQL Database).
  • .net development experience to lead teams on the Microsoft platform including experience working with stored procedures, powershell development, database performance optimization, indexing strategies, and query tuning.
  • Hands on experience with the development lifecycles and ITIL methodologies
  • Confident and willing to adapt and learn new skills
